Looking to get a unit number on the spare track links on a Panther. I've tried using decals and that hasn't turned out too well. I'm guessing people use stencils? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Do a rough paint job by hand. It will look realistic as I am sure it was done like that in the field.

Or, if you are like me, do a very careful paint job that will turn out to look like a rough one in 1/35!

Cut the decals numbers into slices that fit the track. Apply them. Then carefully paint over them using them as a guide. Fill in any gaps with paint. The numbers will now be proportional to one another.

Cut the decal into sections approximately where they hit the teeth and once applied, hit them steadily with decal set until they comply. Touch up with a bit of appropriate paint color.
