while doing all the other award/medal designs, did an idea for Rising Sun.

How about giving some more red and white? The blue, white and red looks too bright to my eyes.

The ribbon you mean? There is no white...its light blue???
Open to suggestions...I tried to avoid too much red and blue so its different from most of the other medals around.

I think just a white ribbon with a red riseing sun would look nice.

Done a few ribbon variations for your viewing....

like D because it shows the rising sun,

one small point arn't they a little big to be a medal in the profile?
and arn't you affraid it will loose all the detail, when you make em smaller?

I pick D. It gives a Japanese feeling. Add some rays now on the red sun that is similar to this

But I think to add rays to the ribbon it would be over-kill.
The medal itself has the rising sun and rays...
But maybe I could darken the red on the medal???
