I picked up a photo etch detail set (Eduard 3557)for the M35 Im building and noticed a "textured , darker coloured finish on the pe instrument panel/dash and a few other pieces, steps etc.

Dumb question, but should these textured pieces be painted to match the truck?

Also, i cannot find pics of the M35 dash in ODS service and wonder if the dash should be painted as the rest of the truck. Ive used Vallejo IAF Sand all over.

Any help on these points would be appreciated.


OK Ive realized that my question is a stupid one. The textured and darker-coloured p e pieces have to be painted to match the other panels.

I have a lot to learn and as im just starting semi- retirement it seems ill have the time!
