I do exactly what Phantom Major does as well.... lighten Tamiya desert yellow :-)

Depends on when you want to place your 'track. Model Master has both Africa Brown for early Africa---Libya, and DAK Desert Yellow for later.

Desert Yellow. Is that the XF59? I think XF60 Dark yellow lightened slightly is a bit closer?
