What was the size of the air recognition flags you see draped over the backs of panzers early on? One source I saw said 3 foot by 8 foot. Another said that was odd for a German flag but gave no additional info.

Interesting. I'd seen that second type but thought they were a hoax. Unfortunately the article did not have the dimensions.
