Rob you also are a master for doing these dioramas'. This is excellent work and looks very realistic. I cannot quite see in the pics but did you put a drop of red in the reflecters and tail lights of the Jeep?

The answer to this is yes. As the Tamyia Sheet ordered me to do I have put in Red in the places where it was needed. After that I gave it a coat of pigments and this was how it turned out

Faust-
Excellent work :-) I really like the way your dio turned out.... just like the picture :-)
The weathering on the gun is my favorite... absolutely fantastic job there!!!! What did you use for the branches? They look especially realistic.....
Thanks-
Jeff

Thanks for the replies.
Here comes the fun part. The branches were made in this way: I first took some sort of bandage Gauze. Now this is not the Bandage that consists of Some sort of netted material but a pressed cottonbal-like structure. I took a very little part of it and made it as open as possible. Laid it on a piece of aluminum foil. Next I took some diluted White Glue (50 percent water 50 percent white glue) and I covered the whole piece of gauze with it. Then took the whole piece of aluminum foil with the soaked bandage and pushed it into a container with a mix of Crushed dried parsley and Birchseeds. Made sure that the whole gauze was covered with the leaves. Then while still wet I took it off the Aluminum foil and pressed it onto the canon as I wanted. Stuck 2 little branches in it to simulate the branches (Duh) And when dry I ran a couple of washes on the leaves and the net with various tones of Green and brown
This is the camoflage branch story

Great work Faust. The packs hanging on the gun could use a little dust. They just seem a little clean and stand out. Good work, Steve

Thanks for the result

Yeah you are right I could give them a little sweep of pigments and they will be dusty enough. Thanks for Pointing it out.
Nate (porkchop)
Ye and Nay. I did some small conversion jobs on two of the figures. The Guy leaning against the Jeep is from the Panzergrenadiers at Arnhem set and I actually only Adjusted the fingers on his Leaning hand to hold the Jeep. In the original kit he leans a bit on the Shoulder of the guy who is Attaching the 37 mm PAK on the Jeep. On the guy who is attaching the PAK Alreayd is more or less in that pose I only put the Arms on a little higher level so it would match up with the PAk`s legs and the tow hook of the Jeep.
The Guy standing on the other side is a mix of several figures. His torso and legs are from the Ambush at Potaeu set from DML. the head is from Verlinden. His arms are from the walking soldier from the Panzergrenadiers at Arnhem set. Because of these little adjustments they interfere a bit more with the Jeep and the gun giving the whole scene a bit more lifelike appearance.
Thanks for the result

Hi there Faust . You have made a nice job. Picture remodelling is a thing i like too much. I d only say that the soldier equipment and their uniform look too new and unused for my likes (the eagle armpatch looks brand new also ) and thats it ..but thats my way of thinkin...
Nice work as always

Ola Robert,
It was a great fun and also a lesson for me to see all the steps of this built. You did a wonderful convertion job on the jeep and the pigment weathering of PAK .figures are also so good...
Congrats for this ice RMG built and more congrats on the leadership and support to all modelers on RMG.

You might be right but.... I`m not going to do much about it. At the time the original picture was made the battle was only a day or maybe two old. before that the germans had a resting period. When Soldiers have a resting period they have to clean everything thoroughly sometimes to crazyness. They enetered the battle spick and span completely clean and ordered. This is a contrast I wanted to show in this dio.
Engin
I`m glad you liked the progress on this dio. To be honourest I liked it very much too. It results in a dio where I`m very satisfied about myself too. A lot of new techniques were learned in this project.
Thanks for your replies.

Very nice work on your diorama. Looks even better in color ! I didn't see the Pak 35/36 in your other pic, but now it makes a little more sense. Figures poses are perfect !
Greetz !
