I'm doing the detail painting on the vision blocks of a Sd. Kfz 251. They weren't molded in clear styrene, so I'm having to "represent" them with paint.
Any suggestions on how to do this?
Thanks!

Hi Jake. The glass has a distinct green tinge. I usually replace them with scratch built ones. Old clear covers of CD cases is ideal for the glass (thanks Robin), just add styrene strip for the mounting bracket. Paint the glass with thin Tamiya clear green to give it a tinge.
If you have to use the kit ones, I suggest maybe paint the glass white and then paint with Tamiya Clear Green. Don't over do the green.

Yeah, it's already built. I didn't think about it when building. Next time!
And thanks for the white base + clear Tamiya. I'll try that tonight.
