Revell Germany's new-ish Leo 1 kits come with a piece of stiff , metal wire for antennas. Anybody know the thickness and what it is so I can try getting some more. Seems to work pretty good.

I had the same "new" metal rod in my Marder 1A5 kit but it is so stiff that it is virtually impossible to straighten (it comes slightly bent).
To be honest I think it is too thin to depict the antennas. I personnally use steel "strings" generally used in RC models. They come in 50 or 100 cm long rod and you have enough in one length to build a couple of vehicles.

A package of cheap guitar strings gave me enough antenna material to last a lifetime...
