I like the detail on the face of the figs. Very nice! What base coat did you use to get those paintchipping?

I'm glad you like the detail on the face of the figs. Responding to some
comments in the past that his German figures look 'a bit too dark',
'Art Instructor' tries to make them look brighter. They may look a bit
shiney because they're 'fresh out of oven' with no time for the paint
to settle or dry up (I always wanted to update my site as fast as could be)
As for the chipped paint for model with one base color like this Mobelwagen,
he used 70% black + 30% dark brown paints - touched with No.1 brush
(smallest brush) and lot of patience.

Chipped paint with brush? Pretty neat! I usually do it by applying a spray paint undercoat then add the base coat on top. By tell me with the use of a brush, you've helped me save a lot on spray cans. Thanks!

PS. I realllllly love the detail on the face!
