Nice looking set but kind of strange that they would come out with a set for such an old kit, especially as there are new 113s either out or soon to be released.

My guess is that it is actually designed to be used on the newer AFV Club M113A1 ACAV kit.

Hi, Gino!
I think you made a good call!
I will say this, though- A/M PE and multi-media "Updates" which advertise as being for a certain kit by a certain model company can and have been used for the same subject matter that were manufactured by different model companies in the past. What I mean is, for example I like to use the ABER PE sets which are meant for the ITALERI 1/35 CCKW 353 on ANY of my 2 1/2-ton "Jimmies" whether they be the ITALERI, TAMIYA, or HOBBY BOSS kits. Best "Deuce-and-a-half" PE set that money can buy..
The above set I think, will come in as a useful set for any ACAV M113 kit out there... Am I right?

Hi!
Ohh, I dunno... Not to disagree with you but let me just mention that there are STILL a lot of guys out there that will build the old TAMIYA M113 ACAV kits- Mainly because they still have the various TAMIYA M113 kits and their derivatives on their shelves, waiting to be built... With a little bit o' TLC or a LOT of it, depending on your outlook, those old TAMIYA kits can still be built into fine models...

It's nice to see the trim vane actuator getting some love but man, I would never be able to get the commander's ACAV armor to come out right.

No, it isn't - you can clearly see that photos show Tamiya model...

Are you kidding me! It's worth the price just for those tie-downs!
Cheers Rob.
