Henk of Holland has a comprehensive 1/72 listing as does On the way. Both websites are worth a look.

got the m113 taken care of. used some from a marder.

now I'm in need of something for flyhawk's M1A2. searched damn near everywhere but nada. I'm not sure iffn the kit decals would be suitable for any recent REFORGER deployments. bison, archer, echelon et al were a loss

Make your own. Black gothic font 1 to 2 mm tall. At 600 dpi on a standard printer let alone a laser printer, it will be clear enough for bumper codes.

Roco used to make bumper codes but they're out of production.

There should be some generic rub on lettering or decal sheets for HO scale trains. US codes are about the same size as the information placards on railroad cars.

Woodland scenics, Microscale among others make HO scale gothic letters and numbers. Both dry and wet transfer.

Whenever you are stuck for anything in 1/72 always try the model railroad retailers.
