Hi Gents,

I havenīt posted anything in a while.

This is my recent work, the old Revellīs 1/35 Unimog upgraded with few aftermarket sets and some scratchbuilding.

Few more pictures to be seen on my FB page https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.561500137669338&type=1&l=4fcf3ef278

Thanks for watching

Beautiful work.

Aren't there supposed to be ropes lashing down the tarp?

Thanks Joe!

Youīre correct. Unfortunately I made a major mistake by placing the eyes on tarp wrong. When I realized the epoxy was almost dry and me too lazy to start again.
If I had installed the rope it would have looked really silly so I decided to ignore it. But I still feel sorry about that

Wow! Silk-purse-from-a-sow's-ear time. That looks fabulous! I have the kit. I opened it, saw the flash, got scared and put it back on the shelf. What did you think of the kit? How wss the fit? And can you tell me about the aftermarket stuff you felt was worthwhile?
Really nice, Jiri. I am impressed.

Nice work on this truck, faded exterior colors look great.

Indeed forgotten bungee cords for the canvas.

I have made this model a few years ago with a ring weapon mount from MR Modellbau.

Gary, I had the same feeling when I opened mine. Thatīs probably why it took so long from purchase to finish the kit. But I was always sure I wanted to have Unimog in my collection.
I used resin wheels from DEF Model and side-walls from Y-Modelle. Both of a very good quality and highly recommended. Especially the wheels is a must.
I also did some scratchbuilding. Few important details were missing and I wanted to have the wiring on the undercarriage ...even though itīs hardly visible.

I just added few WIP photos to my FB photo album. Please have a look if interested.

Indeed nice what you made out of this kit. I see we all had the same experience and feelings upon opening the box. So far I did not muster the Courage to finally start this Mission. If I ever will I have now a standard I will strive to achieve.

Cheers Michael
