Hi. For the past couple of days I've been working on building Academy's 1/25 late Panther Ausf. G. I was just lucky enough to find the missing road wheel out in the garage for this model lately, and this spured me to work on it. I must say that the folks at Academy have done a really find job on this model, for me at least, building basically right OOTB. Found that I could use the 'plastic' screen stuff they sell at the hardware stores for screen doors to make the screens for the various intakes on this models' rear section and it looks just fine.
I find that the parts in this scale are so much easier to work with due to their size than the 1/35 scale models. And now this company has recently released the 1/25 scale Jadgpanther that I'm looking forward to doing as soon as this Panther is finished.
Personally, I would like to see some more of these larger scale AFVs come out as long as they are as finely molded and detailed as the 1/35 scale models are. Am really looking forward to Trumpter's 1/16 scale T-34 here in the next couple of months. Hope it's a good one.
Take care, Sgirty

Yep I agree with you sgirty. I have that 1/25 Panther. Its nice, good detail (not a rivet counter so accuracy isn't big to me) I too look forward to the Jagdpanther and the 1/16 T-34! I also have my R/C tanks to build....I enjoy this scale....takes up more room on the shelf...but oh well!
