This will only be DRAGON's re-boxing of their older kit, released a few years ago. For THIS kind of money, one would be better off with the BRONCO offering, or wait for the new and up-coming TAKOM Jeep...

Even over 20 years old Tamiya Jeep is way better and more accurate than the Dragon creation...

YES!!! Absolutely RIGHT!!! The DRAGON "creation" is an "abomination". The TAMIYA Jeep is STILL a much easier build, even for the "casual" modeler; I also have several of the MINIART "early" Jeeps, but I STILL prefer the TAMIYA kit. If one chooses, there are A LOT of after-market detail and "update" sets one can buy for this venerable kit which can be used to create a real "stunner"...

Nice try Dragon but no cigar. You noticed when you search E-Bay for jeep kits it's Tamiya or Italeri 99% of the time.
I really hope Takom jeep kit lands right in between Tamiya and Bronco's jeep kits. Easy to build and a little more detail.
