does anybody have pictures of where the siegfred line was broken so that tanks could go through but not the paths made by allies
like the checkpoints or paved ways to get through?

Do you mean the Germans attacking it? They didn't! They drove around it, and dropped Airborne troops behind it. I believe, that's what I can recall right now. Could be wrong about some of that.

Kiltman, I think you're thinking of the Maginot line, which the French built and Germans skirted, not the Siegfried Line, which the Allies cracked by direct assault. Sorry about getting , but I wanted to jump on that ASAP so it wouldn't be a distraction.
