Howdy,

I was just curious if anyone out there has ever tackled any South African armor or AFVs..? Their stuff looks very cool a la "THE ROAD WARRIOR"... I know that there was a now-defunct company called Fireforce which did resin kits of some SA subjects...they're gone, but there is another SA company called Aerografix that has a couple of subjects also done in resin (unfortunately like most garage manufacturers, they are a tad pricey and currently they don't do any of the vehicles I am interested in)...

It would be awesome if Trumpeter tackled a few of these subjects --- you gotta hand it to them for taking chances!

Aloha,

Johnny B

I recall that someone on one of the boards did an SA-modified T55. Centurions were also used by SA. Given their once-close ties with Israel - and the Israeli penchant for creative re-use of captured equipment - I could imagine a few T34/85's mod'd and used by SA.
As for the other SA armor - their wheeled stuff, never seen any kits. All JMHO.
