These are great & much appreciated! On the matter of finishing though, I'd suggest dipping them in a muddy slurry up to their knees. Yup, that sounds about right.

Naw, they have to get to and from their rides just like anyone else so muddy is the uniform of the day back then (as it is now).

In my experience, Most infantrymen try and avoid wading through mud. Most tankers on the other hand, enjoy running through giant mud puddles, until their track is in a fender depth mire, then they have to get out and attach the tow cables in a wet mud hole. These look like great figures though!
