I have a small resin stone bridge - double arch with a scale 30' span. I wanted to incorporate it in a Barbarossa dio, but I'm not sure this type of bridge is suitable for Russia. It looks more typical for Central and Western Europe. I examined hundreds of pics from Barbarossa and haven't seen any type of bridge resembling this - actually I didn't see many bridges at all! Usually just a ford across a shallow part of small rivers, or German pioneer bridges, but I don't want to do a German built bridge. Suggestions?

Could you post a picture of the bridge or a link to an image of it somewhere?.
I am thinking that you should be looking for images of towns/cities instead of German units rolling east during Barbarossa. Barbarossa started at the line in Poland where Hitler and Stalin had divided eastern Europe into spheres of interest. Towns in what used to be eastern Poland could be candidates for owning a bridge. Lithuania could also be a candidate. The logistics chain for Barbarossa rolling east through Poland is another possibility, maybe not so exciting but still ...

Frenchie delivers,as always!
I would say that you keep a general rule in mind. Stone bridges are usually built where there is easy access to stone! In the middle of a sandy, swampy area there would probably be no stone available. So your bridge would depend on the zone you want to show. See what I mean?

and when the Russian Tsar built Saint Petersburg they had to bring the stones from other areas ...
where there's a will there's a way
The general observation is still valid though.
There must have been a lot of will involved in building Saint Petersburg ...

Yup!
Herded them like cattle from all over Russia to the worksites. First the poor sods had to walk for hundreds of miles and then they worked to death in those unhealthy marshes ....
