Danish markings later on consisted of a license plate with the Danish flag on it followed by a number? I remember researching Danish markings for a M24 and a Centurion. At least the Centurion had the license number repeated on the turret with a tiny tactical symbol (triangle)
Yugoslavia only had those five digit turret numbers if their Russian tanks are any indication. I researched a Yugoslavian armor decal sheet. The tricolor flag with the red star was only wartime but maybe they used the star postwar.
Or you could do Kelly's Heroes.
There is a picture of one in full US postwar markings with the extra road wheels and track storage of a Japanese occupation vehicle.

The Danish Army recieved 8 Shermans in october 1952. In the beginnig they where numbered from 1 to 8. The number was on both side of the turret and on the front and rear plate.
Later on some of them where numbered with official lisenseplates with the numbers 59.850-59.857. The. Official plate had the Danish army badge in front of the number, not the flag, but on armoured vehicles this was introduced in 1973. Before the number was painted on the vehicle, sometimes on a black background.
I have tried to upload a couple of pictures here

try these decals for Yugoslav Shermans
https://lifthereserbia.wordpress.com/2014/08/19/cc03502-jna-numbers-i-yugoslav-national-army-numerals-in-135/
there should be reference to the generic numbers used on shermans in Yugoslavia.
And the best thing with M4A3E4 is to make Oddbals one from Kelly's Heroes, as that movie was filmed in Yugoslavia.
