I tried visiting the Custom Factory (1/35 resin kits, Russian/Soviet trucks kits/conversions) website but there is only a message saying that the account has been disable by the server administrator.
Anyone who knows anything?

Hi;
"Yea"-- I tried looking for him, even tried last night ! I think he mite have Given Up Given his Location was most likely part of his trouble. Also His conversion's were more on the Experimental side, there mite Not have been that much of A Calling from the Builder's side of our Industry. The Average modeler would in most cases not even know the Subjects he offered and not drawn much Attention given the subjects.
To His credit; He offered conversion's that were of High Quality and were reasonable price wise.
CHEERS; MIKE.

Hi Robin,
Same happened a month ago.
The site was down for more than a week, but then came back again.
We'll see what happens this time.
Warning-I bought last December a GAZ-63 basic chassy and
upon its arrival, I found out there were some parts missing.
Wrote to CustomFactory and they promissed to send me those missing parts.
It's 3 months now and I received nothing.No answer to repeated e-mails.
I'll scratch what I need and never-ever order again from them.

Hi;
Its Sad To see this type of thing happen ! So many type of Cottage investments Crash when all the hard work does not pan out !! It happens a lot; And its more difficult to try and sell something that people are not all that familiar with. His conversion's were experimental conversion's of Vehicles like the T-14 Naked Turret that was for the TAKOM kit. And his T-80/90 turret's were Enigma's that most Modeler's care little For ! Thing's of this nature draw only Attention from the Hard Core type of Builder or Collector such as myself who likes the Odd type of vehicles that were Experimental or Paper Panzer's if you like.

Yeah,up and working!
I fully agree with Robin- CustomFactory have a nice selection of trucks(already bought 2 of them).
Qualitywise they need some improvements , but main problem is-they rarely provide full set of parts in the box-in my case actually never.I had missing parts in my first purchase, I have them also in my last purchase.
I wrote them last summer they need to make money in order to continue offering cool trucks.Which cannot be the case if-because of bad order management- one purchase is shipped in three separate deliveries, two of them paid by themselves.
They sent their appologies and blamed the holiday season for the mistakes.
5 months later I found no improvement at all.
And I'm still waiting for the engine hood, the tow pintle and the steering gear of my GAZ-63 to arrive.

Hi Guys;
"Well"-- lets Hope they took notice of our posting, and concern about there product support !! As for Me; the item's that I acquired were o.k. as was the fast service and the T-14 Naked Turret draws A lot of interest every time I take it to Shows. My next item will probably be the T-90 Turret

-Robin,
I just clicked on your link and it works fine. Nice products from nice people. Shipping can be slow but reasonable postage makes up for it. Very good quality.
Rick
-Just read the above entries and can't figure out why their biz is heading for the reef.
Truly, I only ordered a couple times but shipping time was the only hang up.

Hey,
A somewhat old topic this about customfactory but just want to get my word out since i see people here have had the same experience as i had last year.
Ordered the Black Eagle full conversion kit, after a while asked how everything was going, got a reply back saying it was shipped. After another month asked again and he got a reply back saying it is ready to be shipped which made me very confused. Send some emails again those next couple of weeks, got nothing, eventually demanded a refund and asked payplay to look into that refund, eventually i got the model (mostly) but in very poor molded condition, holes and a lot a cast blobs on the inside of the turret. Heck, the gun barrel was so horribly casted he had put in a gun barrel from a Trumpeter T-80 from the looks of it. Also only got the turret, gun and roadwheels but nothing to attach those roadwheels too.
So yeah, atleast i'm not the only one that had this much trouble getting the model in a half baked state at most. It's pretty sad since it was quite interesting the different conversion kits he had. Oh well, let's just hope for all us Black Eagle fans that a company like Trumpeter will make a 1/35 kit of it in the future since they've done the Object 292.
Alright, good day to anyone reading this

Sad to say this, but you're not alone here Craig...
The engine hood, the tow pintle and the steering gear of my GAZ-63 never arrived...
Eventually, I scratchbuilt them.

As it is seems ordering direct can be an issue, is there any shops that stock them that have a better track record of shipping?

None that I'm aware of...
In my experience(2 orders) main troubles occured not with delayed shipping, but with missing parts in both kits delivered.
For me CustomFactory are "hit and miss" and I'm sad, because I really love their range of kits...

Thanks for the information. I will think on it some more as I cannot seem to add anything to the cart anyway.
