I see the trumpeter LMTV kit has the most commonly seen armored cab, but the M1083 has an older less common version of the up armored cab. Is there a solution other than kitbashing the two kits to get a M1083 with an uparmored cab?

Maybe you could try to get in touch with them and order the needed parts from their M1078 kit #01009 ?

Unfortunatly the LSAC cab from M1078 is not identical with the current LTAS cab. While they look similar, the LTAS cab is different in many ways. When you build the LTAS cab from scratch, its less work than a onversion. This would be my Christmas, Easter AND Birthday wish to either a injection or resin company. Speaking of FMTV trucks, a better kit than the Trumperter one would be higlhy appreciated.
