Just completed another small vignette, this one depicts a SS-Untersturmfuhrer (2nd Lieutenant) and a SS-Hauptscharfuhrer (Master Sergeant) from the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich - Eastern Front Summer 1944.
They both wear the M44 Dot Pattern Camo drill jacket and the legs are from ICM and the upper bodies are from Dragon and the arms are also a mix of ICM and Dragon.
They have been painted and weathered using Vallejo and Army Painter paints and Pastel chalks. The base is a thick piece of balsa wood cut to size and then I used Tamiya's Textured Paint - Dark Earth for the base work for the ground.
I then used a mix of grounded up lichen moss, static grass, leaves and sticks and glued the mix in place and then I used Woodland Scenics Olive Green fine leaf foliage for the bushes and a few grass tufts from Army Painter.
