Rather confused ... I have come across a diagram showing the dimensions of the German Schwerer Plattformwagen. Among the many measurements, it quotes the overall length as 10800 (with a bracketed figure of 124). The width is quoted as 3150 (bracketed figure 36). No units of measurement are given, so I am not sure what is meant here.

It's probably in mm. Not sure what the bracketed numbers are

Re: my recent query ... I think I have found the answer. 10800 divided by 124 = 87 (approx); 3150 divided by 36 = 87 (approx). The other measurements in the diagram have the same result. My thought is that the diagram is intended to indicate the required measurements for anyone wishing to scratch-build a model of the Schwerer Plattformwagen in 1/87 scale (HO).
