This was a good kit to build. I have had great luck with Trumpeter kits and this one was no exception.

Trumpeter made one major goof--they left off the slot for the coaxial machine gun just left of the main gun. The good news is that the fix is pretty easy--Italian troops usually cover the slot with green electrical tape to keep out dust, so a couple of strips of green-painted decal can solve the issue (much easier than cutting a very narrow, perfectly rectangular slot in the mantlet).

It's late and I need to go to bed, but, are the rear "license plates" up side down? Or is it case they get flipped by an IED?

It's a trick of photography; see, if you flip the picture, then the plates are right side up.... no?

They are indeed upside down. I didn't even realize I did that until you pointed it out, LOL.

Hi Bo,

I have built the other version from Trumpeter, using a/m PE detail set and it was fun for me, too.
However, I am amazed with the weathering you did, it is defintely much better than I could apply.

Hats off Sir!
