that is one impressive model, I'm just wondering how big the shelf is going to be that they display it on in their living room

Why? Just why? Just build in plastic-- avoid all the "paper cuts". You'd also need a couple of dump trucks to recycle the thing.

When I was a kid I had a "tank" made from a cardboard box, with a gun made from an empty paper towel roll. This one's a bit better!

At the Rememberance Museum in Belgium, the owner has built an M-10 out of plywood and styrafoam that I thought was real at first.
