I am ready to spray the body colors for my P-47D Razorback. If you take a look at the photo below, should I paint the enitire plane the olive and gray, then last paint the section of the cowl red? Or would the other body colors mud up the red too bad. Just not sure what order to do the paint scheme in.

I don't think the olive and gray will bother the red that much. As a general rule, try and paint in order from lightest color to darkest color. If your still worried about messing up the red, you could go ahead and paint it first and mask it off but I don't think you'll have any problems.

I build a 1/48 Monogram P-47 with the some paint scheme you are discribing.
I painted the nose first, Red, The masked it, painted the under color, Light Grey, masked
it as well and last painted the OD after.. Granted, I waited a day before masking and painting each color.
Hope this works....
