This was great. I teach science and STEM is one of our focuses. Here the engineering and design/redesign are perfect examples of what we want the students to do. Find a problem, create a solution, build and test the solution, check your results, redesign and test again until you get the results you wanted.

I found out that there is a whole series about the work on this tank. From getting it to the Netherlands and on to taking it apart and restoring it. I think it is ongoing right now.
