Hi! Hope one of the site editors can help with this issue: My emails to addresses provided for submissions (e.g., "Model of the Month" and "Photo Feature") keep getting bounced back to me as spam.
Here is the error message:
Your email to group [email protected] was rejected due to spam classification. The owner of the group can choose to enable message moderation instead of bouncing these emails. More information can be found here: https://support.google.com/a/answer/168383.
I have an ATT email address (att.net), which is part of the Yahoo network.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Bob Edwards

Robert I get copies of all Emails sent to that address and I have had a few come through lately and so I know it works OK. The problem you are having is one I do not understand.

It was in a state of quasi-desperation that I posted here. I was hoping someone else had had this problem. For some reason, my emails are being flagged as spam. The only way to fix that, as far as I know, is to change the settings on the incoming mailbox (your end). Perhaps someone else on the forum will know what to do?

Bob

Hi Robert,
Could you try sending one of those e-mails to me instead?
I am curious about what it looks like and I want to check
how the e-mail servers react when I forward it from my e-mail to [email protected]

Received and forwarded without issues.
No rejection messages received.
Maybe Darren can confirm safe arrival?

Robert: Consider this an alternative delivery path if the proper method fails again.
You send it and I forward it

Robin,
Many thanks, although it would be nice, if I could figure out the cause of the problem in the first place.

Since Robin could send the pics to Kitmaker but you couldn't, the issue must lie with the email address/domain rather than the contents. Can you send a test from a different email address using your computer - say, from a gmail address or similar? That way we can be sure it's the att.net email address rather than anything on your computer. If the problem persists then somebody with authority needs to check the spam rules for the Kitmaker email inbox - it does sound to me like your email or even the whole att.net domain might be blocked as junk. Sadly I'm not able to check it myself...

Tom,
Thanks for the input. I just sent a submission to the model-of-the-month email address, and it seems to have gone through without a problem. It was sent using a gmail account. That would seem to indicate that my account or even the whole att.net domain is being blocked as spam and the settings need to be adjusted. I hope someone on staff can address the issue.

Bob

Glad you're at least getting them through! I think it's down to Jim S to look at the spam settings.
