The detail is crisp and extremely well done. The sprue gates are just what you would expect in a figure set and not overly large. Special care should be taken removing the doughboy hats from the sprue as a chink in the brim will be most noticeable there.
One point of note: The figure of the vehicle commander is a Cavalry Noncom so he therefore has spurs to complete his uniform. Caution should be taken when removing the small seams down the back of his legs so as to not knock the spur pegs off the back of his boots.
The instruction sheet fails to show/mention the spurs and also there is no mention of needing chrome silver paint for the spurs on the paint chart. Just an F.Y.I.

Do these come with steel helmets and gas masks by chance? these are OK for the rear echelon but towards the front, they would have been equipped with steel helmets and gas masks at a minimum.
Addendum to the above question--I think I just answered my own question-- you said it comes with "only one sprue"-- so it looks like they don't-- too bad.

You are correct Russ - no helmets or gas masks offered. Would have been a good idea though. There really should have been helmets and gas mask bags included to use as part of their kit, stored in the vehicle.
I can see them wanting to offer a second set of figures based on your observations alone.

Michael. I have their US troops "on the march" is what it's called I think-- it's buried in the stash. It comes with their excellent US accessories set. Perhaps they'll do the same here. They also offer a separate US weapons and equipment set (same sprues) this set might be able to be modified to incorporate their accessory sets. But it would be nice to have all that included-- maybe they will developed a larger set of cargo bed riders too-- let's hope.
