I have this nightmare of Asuka somehow combining the mold of their M4A1 small hatch and M4 composite into some kind of Frankenstein mold and calling it a "big hatch" M4A1.

That's something that Dragon would do, not Asuka/Tasca though.

I'm building the Frankenstein hull Dragon did for their M4A3 with the new hull rear but the grouser covers left over from the M4A2. They tool a 23 plus part HVSS but leave the grouser covers for you to remove. And huge grooves for the VVSS track pad storage.
