Interesting but I so wish that they had released more IDF Tank Crew figures. There are so many IDF kits out there now, and so few options for figures to crew them with. I feel that there is a real dearth of crew figures covering Middle East conflicts post WW2 to Present day. Manufacturers are producing the kits (which suggests that they are selling), it disappointing that no one seems to be tapping in to the fact that they need crewing.
I’m not sure where you’ve looked, but there are numerous IDF crew figures out there. Valkyrie alone has three sets for 1970s, 1980s, and 2000s. SabingaMartin has three sets that are suitable for 1956 - 1973. Meng has a plastic set suitable for the 1990s-2000s and Miniart has a set coming in 2019. As well Plamax has a 4 figure plastic set available from HLJ. Hobby Fan make a couple of sets that include crew suitable for 1956 and 1973 and Legend has a couple suitable for later years. Lastly, Royal Model makes a set suitable for 1990s vehicles. And this is not even including older figures from Verlinden, Tank, etc. that might be harder to find, or the figures included in some kits like Tamiya’s M-51.
So there is in fact a number of sets out there.
