Hi all,
Years ago, I had the 35th scale M1 Abrams by Dragon. This kit got trashed pretty quick. I had been looking out for the newer Dragon kit. Somehow our importer is giving me and my local hobbyshop the run around, as they keep saying its not available.
So...
I have decals for the US army's 3rd Infantry Divison (Echelon, 35014) and am looking for reccomendations for a kit.
I don't usualy build modern armor, hence my question.
Thanks in advance.
Harald

There a couple more options beside the RFM kits. Especially if you don't want a full interior (one of them has no interior)
Academy has released a new M1A2 which is a huge value for money.
https://www.scalemates.com/kits/academy-13298-m1a2-sep-tusk-ii--990012
It builds up only as a M1A2 TuskII or regular M1A2.
Mengs offering isn't bad either. As are the 3 Dragon boxings of the later type (3535, 3536 and 3556).
Also, Panda has released the initial M1 and M1IP's. They might release the A1(HA) next.
Many options out there for Abrams. I'd avoid any tooling that is older then the Dragon 3535. Unless you want to go bargain.

Thanks but I'll go with the RMF kit....
There's a milltracks show 2 weekends from now, I'm hoping there's a vendor there that has one... (and if cheap enough.. 2)..
