Good job so far. Concerning the antislip coating, patience is all. Good luck for the masking session!

Hi Ivan,
thank you for your kind words!

Pumice powder!?!!!!
That really sounds very interesting. I guess, as it is a stone powder, it will not suck liquid (paint) and it will not stick or clump if you scatter it over wet paint.
Could you probably show pictures of one of your models with this technique an it???
Your post let me think about stone powder for gardening purpose, have you ever tried this?

Hi Gino,
thank you for your informative link. I guess I will use this method rather for the rough surfaces than for the smooth one - jet very interesting!

Salut Olivier
Merci beaucoup!
Unfortunately, at least if I listen to some of the people that surround me, patience is not my strength……!
But I will work on it.

Peter

It’s done! The Stryker Dragoon is finished!!!!!!!

Well, it took me some time to finish this one.

As I mentioned in my preliminary conclusion, due to overdetailing on one side and missing details on the other side, modeling took some time.

I gave up facing the PE part for the chute of the MG. I wasn’t able to turn it in the right directions and into the necessary bows. After some trials, it ended up in a metallic slug.

Even more the horn is missing. It mysteriously disappeared after I had already painted it.

All in all it seems to me that it looks like a Stryker Dragoon now. So in the end I’m satisfied with the result.
But see yourself:
