Thanks Dariusz for the heads up on this new kit. It looks really nice. I have never heard of Vollo Models before, this kit is a definite maybe for me. Abrams are like Tigers to me, you can NEVER have enough in your stash

Hmm, I'll hold judgement until I see a review that shows how it compares to all the other M1A2 SEP v2 models out there. Price and how it compares will be my deciding factors.

The initial advertisement mentions the Trophy RADAR and system in the translation, but I do not see any indications of Trophy parts in the photos. Am I missing something?

Strangest thing here is though, that a new company decides to bring out another M1 while the pool is already filled. Makes getting a name and a piece of the cake much more difficult I'd think. Especially for a new Brand.
Takom and Kittyhawk jumped in with less obvious subjects and they made ground quickly.

Yes, they did. As did MENG and RYE FIELD. But they also released some pretty common stuff as well; dozens of different Panthers, Tigers and such. Oh, and excuse me; two new Shermans, one of which hasn't seen the light of day, yet...

It looks good. They look to have gone for a simpler parts breakdown without sacrificing detail - more like Academy than Rye Field.

Yes, it seems so, doesn't it? I for one would rather see less parts but with more sophisticated tooling to capture the fine detailing in a model. Naturally, this will drive the price up. On the other hand, the more extra tooling that's required to mold all of those smaller "extra-detail parts", the more that drives the price up, as well, because this extra tooling needs to be manufactured before the model is even ready to be molded. So there we have the conundrum.
Did anyone happen to notice all of the "Non-Skid Surfaces" on certain of the model's parts..? I'll bet that cost a bundle to tool, as well...
How do you fellows feel about the "Non-Skid Surfaces" and the way VOIIO(?)/VOLLO(?) chose to render them..? Under-done? Over-done? Just right..?

It was mentioned here before. It is a temporary paint used for sand vehicles when on Atlantic Resolve rotation in Europe.

Is there a way to increase the number of smoke grenade fires from the standard two sets of three grenades by having a larger launcher housing, and then increase the smoke grenade ammo container box size?
I am thinking more in terms of the USMC M1A1 directional smoke grenade launchers, or does the U.S. Army prefer their housing as it's more armored?
Have three or four firing sets of three grenades each might make a big difference and then increase the size of the smoke grenade box to correlate.
