Hello all,
My Takom Panther G Late with IR scope and Air Defense Armor #2121 arrived today from 1999.co.jp / Hobby Search.
The kit was well packed, but unsealed. Upon initial inspection everything was present.
In the box are 16 poly-bagged sprues (some folded over containing more sprues); 1 poly bag containing a multi-page instruction booklet, 2 small PE frets (nice in of itself), 2 decal sheets and 2 different types of copper wire; not 1 but 2 track jigs; and a piece of flexible, not rigid hosing in light grey for the main gun fume extractor (very nicely done BTW).
All is in a light grey polystyrene plastic.
The manual is laid out in typical Takom fashion. 65+ steps with many having extra options. (i.e. -1, -2)
There are extra parts here that will make a welcome addition to the ubiquitous 'spares' box.
Note: I also have the RFM late Panther G kit, but on preliminary inspection the new Takom looks like it will be more of a 'fun' build.
Since this is just a 'first look', I will not go into boring detail. I'll do that during construction.
Happy Modeling, Chris

Congratulations, Chris!
You are looking forward to fun. I hope that the problems of earlier Takom's Panther models, have been eliminated. I will follow with interest construction.

All kits have their quirks, but I can work around them.
To the rest, thanks.

I'll be building both.
Anyone want the clear parts to my RFM? I do not like them, as I also have bought the opaque kit.
