This is a question about the Luna-M / FROG-7 artillery rocket.
I've seen pictures (many posted here) of several FROG-7s with different rockets on them. Some have real sharp, pointy noses and others have more blunt, flattened noses. I assume the more pointy ones being more aerodynamic are probably live rockets and the ones with the flattened noses are probably training rockets. Can anyone confirm?
Also, I know from research I've done on my next project, the Trumpy SA-4, that training rounds and war shots were colored differently as well. Training rounds were grayish and war shots were aluminum (with steel in the engine section). Does anyone have any advice on the color of the actual rocket itself?
Thanks much!
