I was sure Trumpeter will issue some day the 152nd:
-they have the bases for it(ZiS-151 by HB and ZiL-157),
-they have issued the predecessor(BTR-40) and all successors(BTR-60,BTR-70 and BTR-80), so what was left out was only the 152-nd.
That's why(besides bad reviews) I did not go for the Skif.
Will definitely buy one and will convert it into Command Version of BTR-152V1, used by Bulgarian People's Army during Cold War:

I bought mine back in 2000, when the available Trumpeter kits were made of some strange plastic that was near impossible to glue ...
If I had known what Trumpeter would become and that they would release the BTR .....

Hi;
"YES"-- Finally the BULAT ! And it's about Time To !
And as long as Trumpeter is going down the road with Trucks, how about A Tatra/Beml 8x8 !! Now that would get Me Back into things with Wheels, and the BTR-152 falls rite into line. "HOW SWEET IT IS"
CHEERS; MIKE.
