Ok I am now going to attemted to do my first indy tracks.ATL-48 Sherman Tracks

First question-The box has three bags of tracks the vague instructions say they are different ,Whats the difference one is for the right one is for the left and the small bag is for curved parts.
Ok which side is Left and Right?

Which part shows the one with the closed part shows or the part where the pin,rod or supplied wire goes through?

Is it really necessaryfor the small bag of tracks ( one with the slightly bent end connecter) to be placed over the curved areas only. The pic has the black area over the top sprocket and the bottom where the track hits the floor.

I hope the you guys can help I asked before but these are totally new dumb begginer questions SORRY!

I just finished these all you have to do is use the tracks in the bag to do the straight runs up to where they turn to leave the ground then you take the bag with the smaller ones curved at a 45 degree angle put one in at rear and then more straight ones until you get to rear idler then the smaller curved ones they are all the same so either side go around idler then back to straight ones over the return rollers until you get to front drive, now on this you can come from the bottom side and go up which ever is easier start with curved one straight until you get to drive sprocket which has to be made larger on the Academy M-10 all I did was punch out a plastic plug stuck in side the hole to space it after checking the width glued it from the inside let dry and then hit the seam with some Tamiya putty and saned all done .
Did this help you?
Also the links all have to drilled out first ever yone of mine had to be done, one more suggestion is use brass wire 0.20 I think it was on this as you have to pull them tight to take the sag out of the Amercian live track no floppy tracks on the Sherman based tracks.

One more thing is make sure that the wire is pushed all the way in to the end before you hit it with super glue had two that were not all the way in bad thing to find out after painted and glued and going on that link is not connected at end cause this does not show up until final fitting Murphy's Law on that!

Take your time great tracks
Then get old tooth brush some Dish washing soap Dawn and scrub away rinse get some white vingear give an over night bath then a good soaking in water then on to the painting
