Heh, back in the 80's I went with some friends up to Fort Meade to dress up in East German uniforms and play opfor for a company of green beret SF guys. We had AK47s and AK74s and a big box of bobby traps that we left all over the hills for the SF guys to trip on. Had the Engineers dig us an L trench, then covered it up so we had a slit to look out on the hillsides. And then one guy pulled out his toy - a Barrett light .50. I got to fire it a few times (blanks of course) and I have to say that it was one of my favorite killing machines of all time. Oh, and we killed most of the SF guys - woulda had all of them, but a lieutenant went all Audie Murphy, got behind and above our position and killed us all in our trench before we could wheel around and shoot him. Those were the days!

Cool recollection, nice Barrett sniper rifles and variants. Usual great stuff from Legend. Wonder how successful the silencer on a Barret would be in real life as loading shells at subsonic speeds would take all of the fun (and range) out of them you'd think. Still, it would be a barrel of laughs to try it out.
