Not only is it on track, but it actually "hit the shelves" (do we say that anymore?) just this week. Mine is sitting at the Post Office, waiting for pickup Friday.

I may have to pick one up. I did the old Testor's History Makers kit from back in the 80s or 90s. I still have the completed work on my shelf. It won second place in a contest in which I entered with it.

Which vendor did you get the kit from? Would like to get one now that I know its available.

Mine is from Hobby Search, Japan. There is a quickie 'first look' review of the kit with photos at Hyperscale. See: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/hyperscale/new-1-35-nike-hercules-kit-in-box-review-t506685.html

Looking at the AFV CAD pix and the box contents shots of the Freedom kit, it appears the AFV will have the four small probe vents on the forward fins, but also will have the nuclear warhead probe as well! I didn't see that on the Freedom kit, indicating a high explosive warhead instead. Don't ask how I know. It will be interesting to see what launcher setup will be with the AFV kit.
