Which issues had the How-To articles on building the Trumpeter 1/16 King Tiger? I saw that there is a book which is apparently the same articles, but it is US $200+. Kind of steep.

To be perfectly honest I don’t see why you need the book, Go spend 120 bucks on Metal barrel and some etch and buy the AFV modeller corrections and your in front.
If your being conscientious about cash use the net for reference both inside and out there’s plenty to get you by.
I’ve built Two 1:16 KTs and they are a stack of fun and value.

The final issue with the KT build is Sept/Oct 2012 and it goes back to early 2009.
