Hi all,
I need some quick answers to my Abrams build please. My question is in Tamiyas M1A2 Abrams IOF, in part 19 the commanders cupola shows you to put in 3 transparent pieces and paint them clear blue, what about the other 5 are they the same or are they clear or empty? I know someone out there will have the answer for me.
Cheers & thanx in advance,
Stormin

The transparent pieces are vision blocks and should all be painted the same. They should actually be a black color with a clear red gloss (brake light red transparent works well) topcoat. Thhe vision blocks are coated with an anti laser coating that loogs red when the light hits it.

In fact, orange, and purple (yes purple) work too. The anti-laser coating looks different from different angles. You have to experiment to find exactly what you like.
