I was browsing through the gallery (reference, modern, US, M1A1)
and lo and behold, there is a pic of my tank from when I was stationed in Korea. It was my first Tank Gunnery as a Tank Commander. The bumper # is C43. The reason I recognize this tank is because I put my nickname on top of my hatch (green gremlin) in 100mph tape
I never knew the photo existed until I came here.

Congrats!!! That's a pretty awesome pic!!

Although I must say it takes quite a bit of imagination to see your name on that little piece of tape, but you spelled gremlin wrong you forgot the "i" :-)

Glad you like the photo. Actually it really is pretty famous as it's posted for journalistic use on the the Defense Link site which puts out all the military pics for general use. That's where I got it from.
