Recently acquired a D-Toys Korean K311A1 truck, which is a version of the M715. (Thanks Chris Mrosko!)

This requires a bit of work to result in a decent M715, and this includes swapping the supplied wheels/tires for the M715 standard.

These are 9.00x16 inch non-directional tread tires on wheels/hubs with drum brakes, similar in appearance to the M37 truck.

Any ideas about sourcing a replacement set of wheels/tires that will better represent the M715? The Roden M37 plastic tires are close but have wrong bolt pattern.

D-toys so an ambulance version which has wheels closer to what you are looking for. Maybw someone with that kir might do a swap.

Another possibility is wheels designed to replace AFV Clubs 105mm howitzer.

Hope this is helpful.

...and the wrong number of (lightening ?) holes ( 5 vs 6) as well.

Yep, the tires between the M715 and the M37 are the same size 9.00x16 and the wheels are the same as well except that the M715 has 6 lugs and the M37 only had 5 lugs. Not very many military vehicles of that era used 6 lugs. As a matter of fact there was an adaptor to use the M715's spare wheel on the 5 lug M101 trailers if there was a flat tire. Probably the easiest would be to use the M37 wheels and fill the 5 hole pattern and re-drill it for the 6 hole pattern.

I currently have both a 67' M715 and a 53' M37 in my collection that I've restored. I would love to find one the D-Toys K311a1 kits as well and convert it to a M715. I have the 1/72 M715 and M725 from Trident that I did a few years ago, but would love to have something in 1/35th. to add to the model case.

My current motorpool has 5 military vehicles that I have restored.
