Hi! I'm currently writing a review for an aircraft kit with attached images, problem is, it needs the URL of the image. If I put the URL link to my pic in my gallery and decided to delete it in the future, would the pic in the review would also disappear or you would duplicate another image that would be stored here besides my own gallery?

As far as I know you will loose the link so the image will desapear from the article!

it would definately disappear. You can prevent this, by sending the article and the pictures to the editor of the section (in your case aircraft). The editor can post the pictures that go with the review in a special area where they will have nothing to do with you gallery diskpace.

You can do it as Danny said or when you submit the online review form just put the url where your pics are at in your gallery. The staff member that publishes the review (since it's aircraft, it would be me) should move the pics to the content section of the gallery and out of your gallery section.
