Sherman’s, any and all marks and variants, with or without interiors and throw in a M5 HST to boot and I’ll leave you alone after that.

Unless it's WWII US/Allied, I'm not interested in any more late WWII German subject matter. The market is already overwhelmingly glutted with that stuff.

Anything else I have to say about this subject will fall on either deaf or hostile ears...

As somebody who loves the modern stuff, I'd love to see them do an M88A2 first. After that, any of the zillion variants of Humvee not yet kitted in styrene, some more technicals like Meng has given us, then modern generators and water buffalos and other modern trailers.

I,m with Greg S.: Let's have some Sov / Russian post-T-55 MBT with interiors. Some derivatives (w/ interiors) of those types would be nice, too.

I think a Merkava - any Mark(s) - w/ full interior would be cool, too.

PS: I would welcome MY wish to be done by ANY good styrene kit company. IMHO, restricting this to 2 makers is simply a contrived device to... what? Force folks who want to see some skipped "fav" subject finally nicely kitted in styrene to choose one of 2 "favored makers" (are YOU a loyal member of... political party A or of the opposing B?)... Or SKIP contributing their SUBJECT wishes to the list of things folks want to see kitted? What's the biggie about the MAKER, here? I think most folks have some preference for one or another maker, but most of us modelers are probably much more interested in seeing new, well-done kits of our longed-for subjects then we are concerned with what company actually does them.

Actually, it sounds almost like much of our national politics... somehow the PARTY has become much more important then the PERSON who we might elect. As if the actual candidate we elect to represent us - to vote on our behalf - is of little importance, as long as they are identified with some PARTY and its PARTY platform. Personally, I'm not interested in political parties. I'm very interested in the actual PERSONS. Likewise, I'm not interested in choosing or avowing allegiance to specific model companies. I AM, on the other hand, very much interested in seeing good kits done of subjects that appeal to me!

But that's just me, of course!

Cheers! Bob

Still it seems that some people are not very bright!

This thread has nothing to do with Axis vs Allies or WW2 vs Modern.

What part of 'wish' do people not understand.

Maybe this was why I stopped posting here for a long time.

I'd like to see the M551 the advertised last year finally be released. Also, a new tool STRV103C, the Trumpeter kit just doesn't quite get it. Does anyone know if Meng and Takom are affiliated with each other the way Trumpeter and HobbyBoss are?

That was all very unnecessary and unwanted. Any sense of contrivance exists in your mind alone. It was just a simple question that you didn't have to answer if you are so afraid of political conspiracies.

I tend to filter out the fluff. I responded because I have an interest in what people will say, and keep looking to see what others are hoping to see.

And to add to what I already posted, Meng, Panther G, and the A/D transitional versions.

Funny man, Shell B.!

Actually, even as you quoted me on, I DID answer the question as asked by the OP.

My subsequent remarks address a point raised by some others on this thread - why restrict the wish list to selected / specified makers? And, as an interesting (to me, of course) observation, that is both a contrivance and rather like some parts of our political world.

from your statement, I'll gather that you don't find what I said to be necessary, and that you don't want me to say it. That is your opinion, and it would be good to indicate that is what it is. I'm sorry to see that you feel that way, but I respect your opinion for what it is.

I'm not sure about the "political conspiracies"... What political conspiracies are you thinking of?

I still think that it would be nice to see some T-72 / 80 / 90 versions, and a Merk or 2, with an interior. And while it could be nice if Takom or RFM did them, I'll gladly look at any company's efforts along those lines!

Cheers! Bob

This is not the first "wish" list, nor will it be the last, but there is always a person willing to quibble about something in every wishlist thread.

The manufacturer quibble frankly surprised me. Why not Takom and RFM? They're willing to take a subject and do all the different variants as opposed to one and done Tamiya. And Takom has been willing to do postwar and Allied series.

Just imagine if they did a whole new series of Stuart's? They'd probably try to fit in an M1 Combat Car and M2A4 too.

It's too bad there are too many dimensional differences that keep the new M3 Lee/Grant series from sneaking in a M2 medium.

But Miniart has started with the M3 and they are known to do do oddball variants like they did with the T-54/55 components.

Not politics or anything else, and maybe I should have qualified this before starting everything off...

I bought eight different Panthers by both Takom and RFM. What else would you like to see from these two.

Yes, I build German and unlike some people I do not think that the market is too saturated with WW2. That is because I would like to see some decent stuff to build to replace the stuff clogging the market.

I know that these threads have been started before, however...

...I thought there were adults here. Guess I was only half right.

Last but least, if you want Allied, Russian or modern, make a list and add to the thread. Please be an adult and stop whining about things we have no control over.
