Looks nice, I like the subtle finish. When I weather a pale colour like this sand, it always looks OTT however light the washes are.

Hey Teacher,
A nice job! I like the way it has an overall look of used but not abused. It seems a lot of people overdo the wear on German armour. I think it's because they lost the war. The only point I picked up, is the road wheels look a little too unused. A little more waer and tear would complete the picture.

Good Job Vinnie ..only thing I might add is to glue the tracks down a bit more behind the sprocket ...they seem to be floating a bit . I don't think they had that big shovel on the front of the early 501 tanks.Weather up those wheels ...one problem the tigers had in Africa was excessive wear on the rubber tires and you see many pictures of tanks missing the rubber or have had the whole wheel removed...bang em up a bit more ...
Yur painting is great love the worn look with the grey showing through ..awesome job.

This is a sweet Model teacher!
Nice clean build.
Know some will yell not enough mud and stuff but I do like clean models myself kind of makes you wonder what they are trying to hide under all that mud. :-)

To be really picky, tie down that upper track to the first road wheel (that's more secure than glueing it), and add some shiny wear marks to the guide teeth.

I would say the exact opposite about the tracks....

The tracks did not lay on the first roadwheel... the sprocket kept them fairly tight and they typically touched the roadwheels at the second OUTERMOST wheel....

I admit that this pic is not the best - but you can see that the tracks do NOT touch the 1st road wheel...

Just my input, but if anything, the tracks should be more "off the front wheels" and more straight.

Have to agree with Lord Nelson there, due to the positioning of the wheels, it's very unusual for a panther or tiger family tanks, have the first set of road wheel's up end to touch the tracks, even if the tracks are real saggy. and German tracks were actually not saggy.

Thanks Dave, Thanks Jeff........and.................biggles, how can you possibly tell from these pics if the teeth show wear or not? In fact they do......not that you can tell one way or the other from these pics.
