The whole upper casement on the Ferdinand/Elefant can be removed just like a turret can.

Yeah, but you're talking about a 1/32-scale B-24, which would dwarf any 1/32 Tank... How long is a B-24's Wing-span as compared to a Tank's length? The old 1/8 scale MONOGRAM Car kits came in pretty big boxes, too...

Mmmm, I’m surprised no one mentioned the Italeri schnellboot S 100 yet. But ok, there are larger boxed kits than the Amusing Hobby crane and Ferdinand with interior. Just.

Just to bring this back to topic, the kit with crane is available on preorder for 75$US, which I thought was quite reasonable given how much modelling it represents.
