Teacher, that is an excellent piece. I think those are the best done tires I’ve ever seen. They absolutely look real. Would you care to share your technique on that?

Excellent work. I have to agree with the tires. While looking at the whole model, they really seem to grab your attention.

Great job. How did you drill out the gun barrels? How long did is take to complete?

MJ, thanks for your comments, regards the tyres I sprayed them with german grey, and then after giving it a full 24 hours to dry I masked the tyre off with Daley-Rowney art masking fluid to spray the hubs with the base colour. I then gave the hubs a very thin wash made from white spirit and burnt umber oil, removed the masking fluid and dry brushed with Humbrol 33 matt black.
Puma112, the barrels were just drilled out with a new 11 blade, and the model took a little over 2 nights which included waiting for paint to dry etc.
