Model Cellar has three new WWI figures compatible with the Roden 8" BL Howitzer and Holt tractor in the works. Two of the figures will be in casual standing poses with a variety of headgear for Commonwealth or US Artillerymen. A third and separately available figure will be posed driving the Holt Tractor. These figures look like excellent additions to fill a gap in WWI Artillery figures. Look for an upcoming review in the next few weeks. Here's a link to a test shot of the Holt Driver figure over on Track-link:

You won't be disappointed with this one. I was doing some "dry fitting" with the review sample I received from Paul at Model Cellar, and found the parts almost "snap" into place. Model Cellar figures are some of the best in the market, and this is no exception, casting is beautiful and blemish free. I'm still working out how to best adopt the seat support to my already built tractor. The reason the seat support is included with the figure is because the real seat support was sprung steel, and bent under the weight of the driver. The kit supplied seat support is too long for a 1/35 figure's legs to reach the pedals, so this Model Cellar figure eliminates the guesswork and "fiddling" to modify an existing figure.

I received an update from Paul at Model Cellar, who informed me the figures should be available at the end of September 2019. So check the Model Cellar website at the end of September. In the meantime I'm working on a build review, but I gotta build 'em first!
